Azure Italia Podcast Presents: The Global Azure Train - A Journey Through Global Azure 2024 and 2025 Share Written By Olena Borzenko Tags Azure Italia PodcastGlobal AzureItaly 2025-04-22 Connecting Communities with Azure Italia Podcast, written by Carlo Sacchi Azure Italia Podcast is the first Italian podcast fully dedicated to Microsoft Azure. Founded by Carlo Sacchi, it shares community experiences, explores cloud technologies, and hosts interviews with experts. Alongside the podcast, the website azureitalia.cloud serves as a central hub for Azure-related events, local communities, and initiatives in Italy. The site provides updates on upcoming Global Azure events, showcases active community groups, and offers a Call for Speakers, encouraging professionals to share their knowledge. The podcast works closely with several Azure communities in Italy, including all the Azure Meetups like Azure Meetup Milano, Azure Meetup Torino, Azure Meetup Veneto, 1nnov4 in Pordenone, UgidotNet, and EtnaDev. Thanks to this network, it has been possible to cover key events like Global Azure 2024, featuring interviews and community highlights. For Global Azure 2025, a new idea is taking shape: Global Azure Train. Inspired by KubeTrain, where Kubernetes enthusiasts travel together to major conferences, this initiative aims to turn the journey into an opportunity to connect, discuss technology, and arrive at the event already engaged with fellow participants. Global Azure 2024: Milan and Turin Global Azure 2024 was an exciting experience, with two main events covered by the podcast, the West Side Mood: Global Azure Milan (April 18), organized by Azure Meetup Milano Global Azure Turin (April 20), organized by Azure Meetup Torino During these events, a lot of interviews were recorded with participants, speakers, and organizers, capturing the best moments from both cities. One of the most memorable aspects was the presence of high school students and teachers, eager to learn more about cloud technology. Their enthusiasm highlighted the importance of making cloud topics more accessible to younger audiences. The discussions and interviews recorded in Milan and Turin were featured in Podcast Episode 27, providing a snapshot of the community’s experiences at Global Azure 2024. Among the many interviews, a key conversation was with Alberto Jacomuzzi from Azure Meetup Torino, who shared insights about the growth of the local community and the impact of Global Azure events. He later returned to Podcast Episode 47 officially introduce Road to Global Azure Torino 2025. At the same time, the community network was expanding, with 1nnov4 in Pordenone and EtnaDev in Catania actively working to organize Global Azure 2025 events. These groups are now playing a key role in bringing new cities into the Global Azure experience. Global Azure 2025 and the Global Azure Train The journey continues in 2025 with a much bigger schedule for Azure Italia Podcast.
