Global Azure Virtual Kick-off Share Written By Magnus Global Azure Admin - @noopman Tags Global AzureVirtual 2020-03-23 Global Azure Virtual 2020 Update Following on from the cancellation of Global Azure due to that pesky virus and the announcement of Global Azure Virtual 2020, we wanted to bring you, our wonderful community friends, an update on how the planning is going for April 23-24-25. A New Dawn Welcome to: (https://virtual.globalazure.net/) To make sure you know exactly where to go for your fix of Azure goodness, we have created a new website that will be the landing zone for all the sessions that the community will bring to you. We are still building the site, and we have a number of integrations to do with other systems, but check back often to see what sessions are available, and how to access them on the day. Call for Sessions We are using Sessionize as the engine to host your session submissions, and we will be enlisting the help of some of you out there to help us organize the content in to meaningful tracks, so look out for an email invitation. The Call for Sessions is open at https://sessionize.com/globalazurevirtual/ Remember to bookmark the Global Azure Virtual 2020 website to make sure you're up to date with all the latest sessions as we work with content and track owners to bring you a great experience. Tell the World We normally have our awesome organizers working with their local community to keep them informed about what is happening for their events. As we move the event online, we are going to need those same folks to help amplify the message to make sure as many people know about Global Azure Virtual 2020 as possible. Once the site is up and running, look for a message with information about hashtags and other social media efforts to help us make sure the event reaches as many people wanting to learn Microsoft Azure as possible. What's next? In other news, we are still working out the details of what we hope to bring with Global Azure Lite in either October or November. Global Azure Lite would include physical locations and a Science Lab, just like we have had previously. We are keeping a close eye on the situation with the coronavirus to ensure we don't set up a situation that ultimately puts people's health at risk. As always, thanks to you, the wonderful community, for such great understanding at this time and let's look forward to Global Azure Virtual 2020 and the wealth of knowledge transfer that will bring.
