If you looking for instructions on how to setup your local event on Sessionize to integrate your schedule with the Global Azure agenda available at https://globalazure.net you are in the right place. The objective is to promote through a single point your local community speakers and content, showing what is happening around the world during the #GlobalAzure event. We also want to allow each local organizer to manage its own event and its own premises. Your event, your rules. We asked some communities, we asked the folks at Sessionize, and after some whiteboard sessions, we implemented what somebody called "Sessionize event federation". Sounds funny right?

On March 1st you will be able submit your session to our site to be listed with hundreds of other speakers who will also all stream live during Global Azure Virtual 2021!

It is time for something BIG, Global, and FUN! On April 15-17 the Global Azure community will go online to share, learn, and have community Azure fun together! We're running a 3-day virtual conference with world-class speakers and community leaders as hosts in a live stream. Hi Global Azure Friends,We hope you enjoyed our Global Azure Virtual event in April!You may remember that before the event, we teased that we would aim to run an in-person event in October or November.With the ongoing global situation with coronavirus, we have decided that this would not be a good idea.

Global Azure Virtual 2020 is an online event where Azure presenters all over the world, in any language they choose, go live online to present about Azure! Anyone will be able to join in and listen and learn!

When we had to sadly announce the cancellation of the Global Azure meetup events this year (blog post: Global Azure and COVID-19) many voices of support and comfort has overwhelmed us. THANK YOU for your support during this trial. Covid-19 is no joke for anyone on this planet. Additionally, we have seen many raise their hand to suggest and volunteer their efforts to make a Community effort around Global Azure in a virtual form.

In light of the developing situation with the coronavirus and COVID-19, and out of an abundance of concern for the health of people attending and those travelling to events, the Global Azure Admin team has taken the difficult decision to cancel this year's event.
